Candice and Maddie Knolling Around

Maddie and I decided to take apart an original Playstation console from our Value Village trip. The console consisted of the outer case (top, bottom, and lid), optical drive, lens extension cable, a spindle, laser carriage, laser gear, logic board, power supply board, power supply cable, two controller ports, controller port ribbon cable, case buttons, lid lock and hinge, and 31 screws.

A lot of the parts were held together by metal or strong adhesive, and we were unable to pull them apart by hand, and we had to use a hammer to separate some parts. We also took apart the optical drive and may not be able to use it in the next part of our project.
