Situation Exploration

Situation Exploration

We began exploring possible situations in which there would be furniture present. We then thought about the environment around the furniture and what it could potentially be sensing. When we brought our top 3 concepts to class to be critiqued, we got the most feedback for our 3rd situation which was a home setting in which a lamp helps make sure people are not too noisy. The feedback we got led us to decide to move forward with this concept but also to think about the social and psychological aspects. As we continue to develop our furniture concept, we want to look more into how we might use this concept to help people be more considerate of those living around them.
