As computing becomes more ubiquitous in our objects, designers need to be more aware of how to design meaningful interactions into electronically enhanced objects. At the University of Washington, a class of junior Interaction Design majors is exploring this question. These pages chronicle their efforts.

Construction

Assembling the lamp, we had to solder the Led bulbs in a parallel circuit to create a circle that would illuminate the lamp in 5 different levels that would adjust the bulbs brightness. On each circle we have 8 LED bulbs in total. And then we created the center column with a material that looks like a cardboard, and are stacking the LED rings on top of each other.
